Director’s Message

 

The Regional Career and Technical Center strives to provide the best training for our students.  Let us work together as community partners to improve college and career readiness and employment outcomes for our youth.  We seek to provide a highly skilled employable workforce by combining our talents, expertise, and industry/business knowledge to train our students to be the next generation of employees.

THINGS WE CAN DO FOR YOU

  • Provide a venue for your business meetings through the Knotty Oak Room
  • Provide you with interested students for paid and unpaid internships and job shadowing opportunities
  • Offer entry level trained employees in various pathways
  • Provide services in various areas (gift certificates available)
  • Cosmetology and/or nail services for the elderly or employee appreciation day discounts
  • Child care services for business meetings, training events, etc.
  • Discounted automotive services for senior citizens, low income community members or employee incentives
  • Carpentry services (interior or exterior)
  • Wellness screenings (blood pressure, vision screenings, derma scan screenings, weight, height, body fat composition, etc.) at your business/community agency
  • IT Help desk services and computer repair, software training
  • Print services for brochures, pamphlets, booklets, vinyl lettering, and banners as well as embroidery and silk screening services for business clothing/uniforms, team gear, and logo products
  • Catering for business luncheons and events

THINGS YOU CAN DO FOR US

Become an industry partner; provide expertise on equipment, training, employment needs, industry trends, training and skills

  • Become a member of one of our advisory boards
  • Volunteer to be a guest speaker in one of our programs
  • Provide a training class to students in your area of expertise
  • Offer tours /field trips to your business
  • Offer employment opportunities
  • Offer internships and/or job shadowing opportunities
  • Become a career mentor; mentor students in soft skills, training areas, career path
  • Participate in our Career Fairs
  • Donate equipment (new or used)
  • Donate vehicles (new or used)
  • Sponsor a competition at SkillsUSA or participate as a judge
